Pasang Tamang
Pasang is a public heath researcher and a PhD candidate that has been with Manavta from the very beginning. Her expertise, insight and network in Nepal continues to help us grow. As a professional in the WASH sector she is highly accomplished in her field work as well as in academia. She is a formidable part of our team who has also authored a variety of publications.
Prakash Shahi
Prakash joined Manavta in an advisory role and provided research and insight into issues such as maternal health, hygiene and broader public health concerns. Prakash was born in the remote district of Jumla, Nepal and is highly motivated and proud to be a part of Manavta. Have a look at his recent academic publications.
Marketing and Fundraising
Faizan muhammedi
Faizan has always had a passion for working with youth and volunteering his time. He contributes his efforts to make sure we are a smooth running organization. Taking the lead on fundraising and organizing engaging events that help us spread our word. He is clearly a multi-talented guy and also spends time making sure our finances are always up to date.
Samagra Shah
Sam is the reason we look so good. He is a photographer and videographer based in Kathmandu, who joined Manavta not only for the opportunity to showcase his talents but he gives a shit. An avid traveller that can not function without a coffee or a camera in his hand. He takes some incredible photos so give him a follow on social media.
Sonal Mistry
Sonal is a marketing professional who is passionate about creating and sharing stories through art. She has been helping Manavta’s mission by creating informative and visually appealing graphics. Have a look at her instagram page.
Mica Prazak
A lover of stories and the people and places within them. Mica has witnessed our impact first hand on a recent trip to Nepal. As a teacher, he hopes to use his power of education to illuminate this global issue. Check out Mica’s documentary “Road to Jholunge.”
